What drives me to do what I do?

A little about me…

My dog training journey began nearly twenty-five years ago with a large, spirited German shepherd, who was very leash and dog reactive. Seeing how the extensive training paid off sparked a lifelong passion for canine behavior and training methodologies.

Living near Davis, OK, I found purpose in rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned dogs, honing my skills through hands-on experience. Upon relocating to California, I dove into the world of service dog training, where I gained invaluable experience in puppy raising and behavior modification. Seeking to deepen my understanding, I pursued certifications with Animal Behavioral College and have trained service dogs for PTSD, stability, and diabetic alert. I’m also an evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program to test puppies and dogs for different environments.

With years of experience under my belt, I've come to realize the importance of addressing the root causes of behavioral issues. Seeking further knowledge, I trained with Cesar Millan, focusing on dog psychology to better understand and help dogs and their owners.
